It seems that way. I have mixed feelings about wanting to see this. Some things about it look interesting (the film-noir stance) and some things look stupid.
One thing that turns me off is Ragingbull's description, which sounds like the writers are mainstream assholes.
It is like the writers were writing and all the while asking themselves, "What would every guy in America like to see right now?"
