Forty years ago, almost to the minute. Roy DeMeo left his personal belongings in his office, walked down his marble steps at 159 Whitewood Dr., Massapequa Park L.I. for a pre arranged meeting with Nino Gaggi at one of Patty Testa's auto shops, possibly the
one on Foster Ave in the Flatlands, Brooklyn where he was murdered. There is another version put forth by author Phillip Carlo in his biography of Anthony Gaspipe Casso, but according to Murder Machine, accounts place Nino Gaggi, Joseph Testa and Anthony Senter as being present. I believe this came from Freddy DiNome who probably contacted crew members about what transpired and relayed the information to authorities. Another theory was that possibly Frank Lastorino, who took Senter and Testa under his wing after the crew broke up. Summoned Roy to a clandestine meeting at Patty Testa's auto shop where Lastorino ambushed Roy and killed him, however the fact that Roy left his wallet, keys and wedding ring at home, indicate Roy knew he was more than likely going to be murdered. Here's is some recent video of the former DeMeo residence in Massapequa Park for review if interested
