The same John Woodman was also sentenced in 2016 to one year in prison for a drug trafficking operation he organized together with Anthony DiNunzio's son Louis. This operation was uncovered when the feds were investigating the activities of the New England Mafia.

I don't know for sure - I'm not from Boston so I got no intel - but my best bet is that Woodman's gambling ring was LCN connected.

I would say that they were definitely kicking up to LCN as he was in business with Dinunzio's son.

Definitely. I think any major traditional organized crime going on in New England in the present day is in some way connected to LCN.
With the drug trade being dominated by Dominican, Puerto Rican and Cape Verdean gangs.
