Would the smaller fading Families be absorbed once they got to the point that none of their current made guys wanted the big chair? If nobody wants to be the Boss and have that target on them, maybe that's when they get absorbed into another family? Or does a large Family just come in and say "you are now with us, and you have no choice"? I think it is my previous thought.
