Yes, Button Guy is at it again. The Falcone Regime Leadership Chart.....

One of the better-known organized-crime networks in America was the Falcone Regime of Utica, New York that first came to power during the Roaring Twenties Prohibition era.

Starting around the turn of the century, large settlements of Southern Italian immigrants from Sicily, Calabria, and the Campania regions settled in Utica drawn by the prospect of work and the open countryside and farmlands so reminiscent of their beloved homeland of Italy.

You can read the rest of the brief history and view the chart via the link below. And as usual...we have an extensive article on the Falcone regime, several individual bios on Upstate New York mobsters (including an entire page dedicated solely to Utica), and other extensive stories about the mafia in Upstate NY.

https://thenewyorkmafia.com/falcone-regime-leadership-chart/

And next week, we'll be pulling something out of our hats for everyone to enjoy. Stay tuned.

Researching this crew was very interesting to me. What many people don't realize is that at their peak the Falcone Brothers crew loomed so large across the Cities of Utica and Syracuse that they were like their own crime family. Many in law enforcement believed they were. This single regime was bigger than many of the smaller families in other states.

Anthony (Nana) Campisi and his brothers, their sons, and their nephews were a very dangerous bunch. They operated in Northern NJ. Several of them were definitely made. I think Nana was inducted into the Genovese Family, and possibly a brother or two of his. Years later a nephew Peter (Petey Black) Campisi got straightened out with the NJ wing of the Joe Colombo Family of Brooklyn.

Although the were a very active, and very dangerous crew as stated before, the Campisi crew was very small with maybe 15 to 20 crew associates. Whereas the Falcone regime literally numbered into the hundreds.
