Jackie, the Gambino Family is actually on the upswing, they're stronger than they were 20 years ago. They were at their weakest under Peter Gotti. This new administration is working wonders. Not yet as strong as under Carlo Gambino or Paul Castellano, but they're not at their weakest.
I do not think any family under any circumstance could be as powerful as they once were.
America was wide open territory back then.
