Slow-burn noir.
Well acted, detailed 1950s talk, wardrobe, sets, cars.
References to auto industry, urban renewal, racial strifes, post-WW2 economic frenzy.
Double-crossings, triple-crossings even. Lots of talking, not much action. The ending doesn't live up to the set up.

Lol. This is almost exactly how I felt about it. Great movie but Liotta just comes off cartoon-ish these days. To be honest I haven't liked any of his mob related roles since Henry Hill.
