Because this has come up on here before, I wanted to put this out there:

This is what happened with the non-existent "threat" Manna allegedly made towards a judge and prosecutors in his case:

An FBI memo came out right before sentencing in 1989 that said Manna could be a threat not that he threatened anyone. Barry (the trial judge) was told this - again before sentencing.

When Manna - through FOIA- learned of this memo - he tried to use judicial bias as one of his appeal arguments stating the judge should have recused herself.

BUT...in her denial…meaning Barry who also heard this particular appeal and the one who received this “threat” ...said herself it was an invalid argument because the FBI only said there “could” be a threat - not that Manna had actually threatened her or any of the prosecutors.

And yet here it is 33 years later — that bogus threat rumor— still floating around the internet as fact…
