He associated with them, so he must have taken money, so he must be guilty...... I don't buy it. In fact his associating with them was minimal at best.
Is that such an incredulous premise to accept? That Paul Castellano, the greediest, commission boss ever, who raised the tribute amount capos had to give him every month and was killed for it, accepted money regularly from both Robert Dibernardo and Roy Demeo, two of the Gambino's biggest earners. If that's an unacceptable situation for you to consider, then hey, your entitled to your opinion.
