Im not talking about him accusing Gravano of killing Frankie DeCicco. I know thats bull, although maybe at the time, he actually believed it.
Im saying that more people actually liked Gotti, including old timers than Gravano would have you think. This whole notion that a lot of guys hated Gotti is completely overblown in my opinion. Not saying some guys didnt hate him but its overblown. By the way, they could have easily killed his son as well as Pete Gotti anytime they wanted in the 90’s but they never did. I dont believe they refrained from killing him just because he was used as a shield and kept the heat off everyone else.
Gravano is also full of shit when he makes it sound as if he and DeCicco called all the shots for the Castellano murder and in one podcast Gravano even audaciously claims he told Gotti to “ shut the fuck up” and do what he and DeCicco tell him to do. I dont believe that for one minute.
