I seriously fucking doubt he had no ties to any New York crime family, but just like I can't prove he did, you can't prove he didn't, but here you are saying with absolute certainty that he didn't. There were none alleged, and if there were any ties I think the history of mob prosecutors is to take any hint of a tie-in and put it put there. I read his indictment, there was no mob tie mentioned. None were in ht news except for an early story of him having his place of business near a Mafia member's business. Nothing came out of it, I did figure, and now am more certain of his ties to the Italian group Ndrangheta. although I know little of them. I base that on the information you provided here, which seems very thorough. I know little regarding The Ndrangheta, so others can comment on those ties if they like and on your take on it. The future problem will be La Cosa Nostra or LCN, Cosa Nostra, Camorra, and Ndrangheta. These groups will always be here, ALWAYS. They're never going away, NEVER. End of discussion. The only time I've ever agreed with Luan Kuci or whatever the fuck his name is is when he said that this everyday all day talk of the mob's decline is getting old. Everyone knows that the "glory" days are over. The Camorra is too divided in many small clans and few big clans that prefer Europe to US,the ndrangheta have ndrine in both US and Canada but is focused on narco traffick in all the world and the mafia made more money in Europe. So the US insnt their primari target.

I can't remember the names, but I remember a couple of guys with ties to the Licciardi clan of the Camorra were busted in New Jersey a while back. Also keep in mind that at times mobsters are busted with zero references in the media to their mob ties. This happened with Colombo mobster Thomas Farese. You just have to wonder how often this happens, there's probably been several cases of mobsters arrested for schemes and scams with absolutely no reference to their Mafia ties, either because their mob affiliation is unknown or law enforcement thinks it's better to keep it under wraps for whatever reason. Also, the FBI says that there are several people over here from Cosa Nostra, Camorra, Ndrangheta, and Sacra Corona Unita in the USA doing what I don't know maybe just visiting family. Any idea about who will fill the void in the Colombo administration now?
