Murder never had a statute o limitations in the United States as far as I know, probably since laws were first made. Charges of anything else did till they changed the sex laws a few years ago. Also Rico Laws let prosectors go back for any type of crime, even misdemeanors. They can even take an old misdemeanor guilty plea and add it to a RICO case as a felony.
