Exactly. I don't think anyone here on the forum condones abusing children or women. But regardless of the allegations against anybody, regardless of their prominence or position in life, the truth is the truth. And if it later comes out that there is validity to the charges (about him or anyone else), then prosecute them.

But to convict a person in the media simply because there is an allegation made is extremely unfair and unjust.

And truth be told, Rev. Louis Gigante has done more for the South Bronx to resurrect it from the rumbles of a ghetto than any other single person I can think of. Politicians included!
So let's not be so fast to condemn him. He's got a record of benevolence and 'good doing' for over 5 decades thats second to none! THAT alone should stand for something.
