Well the obvious answer is so they won’t go to jail for life. But to me they come from a world of deception anyway so it’s just what they know. The whole “honor†thing is really a facade. That’s why I always say that they are all equal pieces of shit. My only issue is that the sentences for cooperators are too lenient. For example I’ve always said Sammy should have at least gotten the sentence he got from the ecstasy conviction in his original sentence in the 90’s considering he was involved in 19 murders and was heavily involved in Gotti’s crimes he was convicted on
