It was common knowledge that he had a source in L.E. ++++
He had a HUGE crew and his son had a big crew and between the two crews, they KILLED people all the time.
So on one hand people were talking and saying, how can this guy do all that he had done and is doing and he has been and is not jammed up, makes no sense he has have to have gone bad.
On the other hand it was again common knowledge that if you are working with the feds you are not supposed to be able to commit violence especially murder and in his case murders.
So guiys were confused and didnt know what to think.
And he was such a tuff bastard that if you called him a rat to his face he would shoot you on the spot.
When the story broke in the papers alot of people werent suprised.
When Sammy the bull turned nobody could beleieve it.
So what I think Allie Boy, meant was that they knew it but they just werent sure about it.
Thats what I remember the buzz was back n the day on the streets,
Just to give an example not to long ago there was a guy in the Gambino's namned Rockaforte, There was an article published that a bunch of guys from the Gambino's were caught on a wire talking about Rockaforte, saying if he doesnt get indicted soon he has to be a RAT, He was into so much on the street, that there was no way except if were working with the feds.
It turns out they were wrong the guy didnt flip and was eventually indicted.
