Now that we know Iraq had no WMDs, Bush is trying to use genocide as the excuse. He cannot switch it. He said WMD and like I said, someone must have read the Resolutions to find that genocide was happening.
Bush, despite what you say, always included genocide as one of the reasons to enter Iraq. Here are some excerpts from the presidents speeches in the lead up to Iraq. Bush to the United Nations, September 12 2002- "Last year, the U.N. Commission on Human rights found that Iraq continues to commit "extremely grave violations" of human rights and that the regime's repression is "all pervasive." Tens of thousands of political opponents and ordinary citizens have been subjected to arbitrary arrest and imprisonment, summary execution, and torture by beating, burning, electric shock, starvation, mutilation, and rape. Wives are tortured in front of their husbands; children in the presence of their parents -- all of these horrors concealed from the world by the apparatus of a totalitarian state. " Bush, February 26 2003- "The first to benefit from a free Iraq would be the Iraqi people, themselves. Today they live in scarcity and fear, under a dictator who has brought them nothing but war, and misery, and torture. Their lives and their freedom matter little to Saddam Hussein -- but Iraqi lives and freedom matter greatly to us." Once again Pat, why was it wrong for Bush to free the Iraqi people, while at the same time it is wrong for him to not go into the Sudan?

So 65 Million isn't enough for you. Did you ever stop to think that much money may be a great amount of money in that coutry. Maybe the people living there only make $100.00 a whole year over there! Maybe even less. So 65 million is more ten enough.

Once again Pat, why was it wrong for Bush to free the Iraqi people, while at the same time it is wrong for him to not go into the Sudan? What did the papers and media organizations say? WMD. Bush told the American people WMDs. There is nothing wrong with freeing the Iraqi people. There is something wrong with changing the reason of entering Iraq. He said WMDs was the main reason we entered Iraq. We find out their are none and Bush wants us to think he actually cares about the Iraqi people. -Pat

Ah, so you would rather take out 2/3 of a part time worker's pay check than 1/4 of someone who is making over a million? And you wonder why there is poverty and welfare.

You don't own property you can't vote on budgets. Then you would hear them cry, thats not fair.

Perhaps because Yankees say freedom and rights after every other sentence--especially on this board when faced with a dilemma they cannot defend. So by some boastful falseness in self-proclaiming freedom lovers, you've brought it upon yourself as a nation responsible for the world's freedom.
You "freed" Iraq, why not Sudan?
And for the record, DMC is correct, Sudan does have oil fields; but obviously not the kind worthy of bombing the country to bits for, a la the Middle East.

Mick Well, if you know that they have oil, then do you know who gets that oil? You mention the Middle East and Bombing countries ect. Mick do you know who gets most of the oil from say Iraq? Now the most important question Mick. Who does the United States get most of their oil imports from?
