You live in Manhattan?

I saw it in Barnes & Noble. I looked through it, but didn't buy it. I think it put a kind of humorous spin on mob life.

I read it, given to me at Christmas one year.

A good read, although quite fast. Steven writes about his early forays into an acting career, recalls a number of humorous anecdotes from his childhood, and gives some general advice on ways to eat, dress, talk, and act like a real-life wiseguy. The work also has a certain sense of family warmth to it. Steve is a very funny and an interesting guy, and there's also some stuff for hardcore Sopranos fans in there.

A definite reccomendation, although Id just get it from a library if you can, it took me like 2 days to read.

I got the book as one of my anniversary gifts from my girlfriend, Gina. It's a pretty good book and it helped build my interest in Steven Schirripa. It's a fun book to read and I'd give it 7 1/2 out of 10 Stars. It reminds me of someone I found on aol. They're our kind of Goombas.

You know, we always called each other good fellas. Like you said to, uh, somebody, :You're gonna like this guy. He's all right. He's a good fella. He's one of us.: You understand? We were good fellas.

I was so surprised to learn that he wore a fat suit for his first few appearances on the Sopranos. Firstly because it looks so realistic, and second because he then put on the weight to match his characters appearance. Considering thats a long-term gig, I'm surprised he opted to do that to his body.

Also, he mentions that his first acting gig was a bit part in Casino. Despite me having seen this movie tons of times, I still cannot spot him. Anyone know what scene he's in?
