I was just wondering if any of you could recommend me some movies. The following are movies that I really like these days:
Lock, Stock and Two-Smoking Barrels
Snath
The Usual Suspects
Fight Club
Memento
Pulp Fiction
Reservoir Dogs
American History X
Saw
Seven

I know Guy Ritchies is coming out with a new one soon, but do you guys know of any other similar movies to the ones I've listed above. I know they're pretty random, but I hope you get the jist of the types of movies I like. I'm a big fan of the Englsih gangster with specs of humour (guy rithies work). Do you guys know of any similar movies that could be of use to me

Thanks

Of those you listed, I liked "Fight Club" the best.

Pulp Fiction IS Tarantino's masterpiece, and Reservoir Dogs is a masterpiece. Those 2 are the ones I liked best.

Hey, how's it going?

These two came to my mind as recommendations:

-51st State might be worth watcing for you, it's a comedy with lots of British and Scottish gangsters

-The Machinist, not as good as Memento but kind of reminded me of it. And it has Christian Bale.

Layer Cake was really good, definetly in the vein (sp?) of Snatch and LS2B, so I'd see that if I were you.

Besides that speficially I'd just have to recommend some of my favorites considering we seem to have similar tastes in film...

The Godfather Pt II
The Godfather
Goodfellas
Heat
Casino
Traffic
Miller's Crossing
Ocean's 11 (2001)
Raging Bull
Fargo
The Man Who Wasn't There
Carlito's Way
Kill Bill
Thief
Sexy Beast
Collateral
Dinner Rush
Hard Eight
Bugsy
Narc
Donnie Brasco
Get Shorty
Scarface
Gangster No. 1
Jackie Brown
Bandits
Made
Analyze This
The Limey
A Bronx Tale
The Godfather Pt III

Those are the crime/comedy/mob films off my list I thought you might like.

Enjoy!

I dream in widescreen.

All great movies.

Also, check out "Bound." Awesome gangster film, with the guy who played Ralphie on the Sopranos.
