So far he's 1 for 1 with the Bronx Tale. And if this new movie, The Good Sheperd, that he's directing turns out to be as good as A Bronx Tale was, DeNiro's career as an actor might be saved, and people will start noticing his talent for directing.

Can't wait till this movie comes out!

I'd personally like to see him seriously take on a mob movie, to see what it would look like from his point of view. I am well aware of A Bronx Tale but I mean something a little more big budget with more of a cast.

I wouldn't be opposed to seeing it made. Or another film with him and Pesci, and of course Frank 'The Underrated Man' Vincent

^^ yeah Frank is great, but imo he cant carry a movie on his own. But with guys like DeNiro and Pesci besides him on the screen he does an amazing job

He also worked as a director on The Score. However I don't think he is credited as a director... Anyways, Frank Oz directed most of it, from what I've heard.

"Somebody told me when the bomb hits, everybody in a two mile radius will be instantly sublimated, but if you lay face down on the ground for some time, avoiding the residual ripples of heat, you might survive, permanently fucked up and twisted like you're always underwater refracted. But if you do go gas, there's nothing you can do if the air that was once you is mingled and mashed with the kicked up molecules of the enemy's former body. Big-kid-tested, motherf--ker approved."

^^^Yeah he directed Brando's scenes becuase Brando decited he didnt like Oz. Bob was pretty much just the middleman for Brando's scenes.
