No oscar for Martin Scorsese, Eastwood got it instead. Although I am a massive fan of Clint Eastwood's it was Scorsese turn this year, when will the academy give an oscar to a man that has deserved it for so long?.................What do you all think?, should Scorsese have won it

the Oscar sucks, Scorsese doesn't have to worry about that. he will end up getting an award like the one Sidney Lumet got sunday or for some meaningless movie (like The Aviator) he will make just to get an Oscar (like The Aviator).
the fact is he didn't get it for at least FIVE masterpieces (Mean Streets, Taxi Driver, King of Comedy, Raging Bull and GoodFellas) and that can't be explained.
