you'll like both those movies. especially untouchables. i got my ex girlfriend to watch it, and she hates anything to do with the mob. meh she probably likes kevin constner. lol.

For pure entertainment value, The Untouchables is a good movie. As far as being factual (which is what I look for in many mob movies) I'd have to say that this one is way off the mark.
I came, I saw, I had no idea what was going on, I left.

hated it. especially the way the untouchables are cast as the good guys. I found myself cheering whenever one of them was taken out, especially that guy in the lift 'untouchable?'
sean connerys racism in it is also awful

sean connerys racism in it is also awful I wouldn't necessarily call it racism. There was an ethnic pride in those days. Way before anything was considered politically incorrect. I'd venture to say that it was one of the more authentic elements to the movie.

I like that movie and I found no problem with Sean Connery's racism, in fact my friends and I thought he did a good job and was funny. Even though I'm Italian-Irish. "Isnt that just like a wop, brings a knife to a gun fight. GETCHA ASS OUT HERE YA DAGO BASTARD!" FAVORITE SCENE IN THE FILM RIGHT THERE.
When some one needs to be whacked you call Don Leporleone, When some one needs to be paid off you call Don Leporeloene, When some one needs protection you call Don Leporeleone.... But when you buy canolis from the bakery you don't share them with Don Leporeleone, what have I ever done to make you treat me so disrespectfully

I don't want realism. I want magic! Yes, yes, magic. I try to give that to people. I do misrepresent things. I don't tell the truth. I tell what ought to be truth (Blanche/A streetcar named desire)
