. . . ok, it's probably not going to be THE best book, but it'll be right up there with things you've read by Mario.

The Count of Monte Cristo, by Alexandre Dumas

It's an absolutely fantastic book. and a must read for anyone who likes fiction. This book is over 1200 pages long, and I wasn't bored once, it flows and keeps you addicted easily.

It's quite different from the film, and I enjoyed Dumas' writing style hugely. The main character is one of the best and most intriguing characters I have ever reead about, by the end of the book, you will realise that he's as close to G*D incarnate as you will get.

anyone else read this book?

I absolutely loved The Fortunate Pilgrim, so I'll go with that one.

Cool. I know that you all enjoy Puzo's books like I do, and thought you might enjoy this too.

Yeah I read that, it's great. All about revenge, and not Vito Corleone style. It's long, but worth reading, for sure.
