Anybody on this BB like (or seen) Usual Suspects?
It's a great movie (no Godfather though) and I haven't seen anybody here talking about it. If you haven't seen it, I urge you to watch. If you've seen it and not liked it, i urge you to watch it again until you like it!

Charlie M?! You made me put your head in the fucking vice and make your fucking eye pop out for fucking Charlie M?!

The Usual Suspects is a favorite of mine. It is one of the most original and clever movies that I have seen. Wtih a great cast and twist, this is a must-see. 9/10

The reason why it isn't a Godfather is because it's a total different genre, and shouldn't even be in this section.

It's a witty film directed with a verve and energy that works a treat. The cast is nicely put together, but it's hardly in the Top 5 movies of all time. One of those films that gets better every time, albeit the shock value of the twist is lost completely.

Some movies get better to some people & some movies get worse. To me, I would say The Usual Suspects gets better more than The Godfather b/c with the Suspects I pick up new things everytime I see it pretty much. Just little things I didn't catch the first time, that makes it easier to understand it. Plus I think it was so great how the Usual Suspects was so original, plus the cast was great, but what I loved the most was the amount of humor they were able to put in it. Originally, the line up scene was supposed to be serious with no laughing, but the guys couldn't keep it together & Singer just left it in there. I'm so glad he did b/c it makes the scene a little lighter.

I really wanted to like this more than I did. Contrary to what others have said, this gets a LOT worse with each viewing, IMO. The twist is probably the only good reason to watch the movie. Spacey is good, but the other performances are lacking. The direction was very mediocre and the feel he gave the film really was a bit painful. Funny at times, boring at others. Great script though...
