are these movies really good films, and worthy of adding to a collection. I know best buy is running a 2 for $20 special this week (included in the special is taxi driver and donnie brasco, i suggest now is the time to update your collection if you do not own these films) and i dont know if i should get them. Normally, i would, but im a little short on cash this month. Should i still by the movies??? (if they are good films and true to the mafia/mob/gangster genre, then i do want to own them.
Bart, Is it wrong to steal a loaf of bread to feed your starving family? No. Well suppose you got a large starving family, is it wrong to steal a truckload of bread to feed them? Uh-uh. And what if your family don't like bread, they like cigarettes? I guess thats ok. Now what if instead of giving them away, you sold them at a price that was practically giving them away. Would that be a crime Bart?

The Long Good Friday, The Limey, Gangster No. 1 and Sexy Beast. Four great British gangster films. With regard to buying Snatch: If you're short on cash, I would wait a bit to buy it. It's fantastic, but there is no guarantee that you will like this film. For one, you may feel it's all been done before. The directing is brilliant, but very Scorsese and Tarantino-inspired. The plot is not realistic at all--more like a fast-paced fantasy than anything else. But it really is a hilarious film which I do recommend. The Professional: Excellent. 'Nuff said. Mick
