Are any of you fans of this film? I think alot of people have missed it because of it's title, they might think it's a crappy chick flick. If you are a Tarintino fan and have not seen it, do so A.S.A.P.

I didn't much care for "True Romance," but it has two priceless scenes near the beginning that are absolutely worth watching. In one, Gary Oldman plays a black pimp and gives yet another over-the-top performance. Then Dennis Hopper and Christopher Walken do an unforgettable duo as victim and victimizer. Amazing scene.
Watch for James (Tony Soprano) Gandolfini as a Mob hitman.

I saw this film on HBO (probably soon after its theatre debut) and like others, we thought it was a chick flick. Well soon the chicks fled and the guys were glued to the set. Didn't even know who Tarantino was then. Bizarro, is all I can remember. Slater played a good, slightly off center character. And Yes, Turnbull: the Walken/Hopper dialogue is a good reason to watch this film.
