Hey! I am going to rent this film on friday, but I have a question. Is a lot of the film with De Niro by himself in his apartment? Because I saw a clip of him delivering a speech at his small apartment and it was great. It creates the right mood for the film.

DeNiro's best and most chilling performance ever. This movie; no matter how many times I've seen it... EVERY time, the movie, the acting; it sends chills up and down my spine. UNBELIEVABLE. Definately Scorsese's best; overall. The movie mostly takes place with DeNiro doing his job as a Taxi Driver. Only a little of it takes place in his apartment. The "you talkin' to me?" scene takes place there; and him building up his arsenal of weapons somewhat does. But... There's only a little amount of scenes there. 10/10... I HIGHLY recommend it.

Tootles.

To answr your question, no. But the lot of the movie is with De Niro by himself on screen, or with little others around him. The evololving of his character is superb. Go get it!

Also, it's from DeNiro's point of view and state of mind. The whole movie; is all from DeNiro's perspective.
