Anyone here gonna buy this game? I don't know alot about it but my question is the game gonna be pretty much like Grand Theft Auto games? I like GTA, but hope it's not too much like it because I don't like games that are the same.

I have it. Its not really like GTA, it is much more realistic. There is not much freedom like GTA, you have to do one mission after another, theres no other tings to do part from missions. Dont buy it if ur expectin GTA coz it is a diff game.

nahh sorry Capo de La Cosa Nostra, it's a PS2 Exculsive..This game has gotten mixed reviews from as low as a 3 to a 10. There is no map's at all the developers wanted to make it as realistic as possible..

I was skeptical myself at first. So far I have read four reviews of it: gamespot.com gave it a 6.9, game informer gave it a 9, electronic gaming monthly gave it an 8 and gamepro.com gave it a total score of 18.5 out of 20. I got it yesterday and I like the game alot. Too many people who give it crappy ratings are trying to dissect by the GTA games. It's not a Rockstar game, so it's not gonna be as great as those. Yet, it is a little mix of the Driver games and GTA. If you like Guy Richie films, then you should get it because it is basically a movie in a video game.

One reason I love this game is because it is so realistic. You have to abide by the rules of the road, for the most part, so cops won't chase you (and of course there are no police bribes!) and you can take people hostage and shit. I don't really like how there is no "screen clutter" or power-ups because I do think it's pretty gay to have to lean against a wall for power, but that's just me. It's really a trip to see licensed car logos and storefronts though (I saw a WHSmith, which was cool). One thing I couldn't believe I saw was a "Queen Of The Damned" marquis, with the movie poster and all, playing at some theatre. It's stuff like that kind of realism that makes this a great game. My score: Despite the few problems, I give this game a 9 out of 10. Definitely worth the money.

It is goddamned hard to find your way around London, mostly because the city is so fucking confusing! There are lines everywhere on the roads and the streets, in some places, diverge into fifty other roads. I think it is fucking stupid that the developers didn't include a map, because it is damn near impossible to find your way around. One thing I love is the language: I've never heard the words "fuck", "fuckin'", and "fucking" spoken so many times in a video game before. Also, the cutscenes and the story are top-notch. Overall, like I said before, it is a great game, despite its problems.
