I have a few questions about some books

Was Once Upon a Time in America based on a book called The Hoods and was the book good?

Was Carlito's Way based on another book besides Carlito's Way and are they good?

Any info on them would be great, thx.

Yea I read the book, it is very good too..I like the movie a little bit more IMO. I don't think they made a book of Carlito's Way but I could be wrong..

You mean you read The Hoods? Before the start of Carlito's Way it says it was based on Carlito's Way and another book, can't remember which one though
