Good question son.

Well after all the rumours a while back (which don't seem to be true) with Pesci portraying Sammy The Bull Gravano, I was well intriged. That's what i'd like to see aslong as it was accurate. Pesci would do a perfect job.

Yes another good one Goddaughter - Luciano. Hopefully not played by Christian Slater again as he did in Mobsters. Oh but Andy Garcia played him well in Hoodlum though. Pity that was a terrible film.

Definitely yes, goddaughter!!! I'd settle for a good, 90 minute, no commercial, documentary. Same for Frank Costello. And Frank Nitti. I'd better stop while I can!

I think movie company's/tv-stations will only make a movie about a person that never has been made a movie about.

I saw two movies about Sammy Gravano, one where he was the supporting character (Gotti) and one where the movies centres around him (Witness to the mob).

Lucky Luciano to me is one of the greatest mobsters in history for setting up the two conquering mob bosses during a destructive mob war (Maranzano and Masseria) and kill 'em both after being the new (unofficial) boss of all bosses himself. But as said before, there has also been movies about him already, not to mention Al Capone-movies.

How about another Gotti movie? One thats updated and includes his death. It could be a feature film that could be in the theatres instead of just on HBO. I have no idea what actors would be able to play Gotti though.

My choice would be Abner "Longie" Zwillman, boss of the NJ rackets, who was the biggest rum runner in the East during Prohibition; formed "The Big Six" with Costello, Luciano, Adonis, Siegel and Lansky; called and hosted the 1929 gangster convention in Atlantic City; was the lover of Jean Harlow, the "blond bombshell"; and was a legitimate businessman of note. Named by Senator Kefauver as "the biggest racketeer in America" in 1951, yet few if any ever heard of him--and nobody did his life story in film.

I've just heard of him!!! I'm no scholar, Turnbull, but I have read a couple of books and I've seen a few documentaries...I'm amazed that a guy with those...uh, accomplishments (if one can call them that) is so unknown! Was he German, Dutch, Jewish? Ya know what Mr. Turnbull, ya oughta write a screenplay or a non-fiction book about him...yeah...the Big Six... Jean Harlow...I can see it now...

As talked about before, I'd love to see a new updated, very accurate movie about the ife of Capone. I'd also like ot see the same for Gotti. I wouldn't mind also seeing a film more about the "Robbin Hoods" of Sicily, fighting for freedom from the MOB. Anoter interesting thing could be about the lives of Capone's influneces as a youth.

Well if they ever make another movie about the NY mob in the late 1920's, Giuseppe Masseria:

shoudl be played by Victor Garber:

he has not done any gangster films yet, though... he starred in The First Wives Club, Titanic, Legally Blonde and Tuck Everlasting.

But hey, he might get the hang of it as Joe The Boss.

All the ones that have been suggested so far have been great but I'd like to see a movie about Sam Giancana.

Hey Don J! You ever heard of a movie called "Sugartime"? I think its been on HBO before a couple a times. It's good, Sam Giancana's played by John Turturro, and he's a really good actor.

Definitely! But a good mob movie, not some stupid cops/robbers movie like Untouchables. I didn't like that movie at all because it was more about cops than Capone!

It´s kind of ironic if you ask me, when people see a movie and the "Good-guys" are most of the time in the picture they don´t like it. When it´s the mob where it´s mainly going abaut it is a lot more appealing to most people.

I think Dion O'bannion would make a good movie but im not so sure who would play him.
