Once upon a Time in America is showing tonight at 1:20 on AMC. I plan on recording it because AMC is kind enough to air movies without commercials.
It will be playing several times in the next few days if anyone wants to check it out...

Thanks for the tip, Don Thomas.
I just watched the 2-volume VHS tape. This was much gorier than the version AMC is showing (titties, too!), and clocks in at 226 minutes.
3 hours and 46 minutes. I have heard that a 5 1/2 hour version also exists. Can anyone confirm this?
Also, has there been any word on a DVD release yet, after all this time? Does anybody know?

it follows jewish gangsters, from child to adult and their struggle from being poor and just being little hoods and stuff. it has de niro, james wood and pesci in it. i give it 4 stars.
