Hey I have never seen the film The Sicilian. Book was incredible, as good as the Godfather. Different, though.
I was just wondering do you reckong they are going to remake the film? If they do I know for sure the remake will be incredible, they will jump over all the mistakes from the first film.
From how it sounds, I guess the film just brutally ruins a storyline. Had I seen it before the book, I wouldn't been majorly pissed off, the whole plot would have been destroyed, and all for what?
Well, I was just wondering if a remake was going to be made. But from the sounds of things, a child could remake it better on Macromedia Flash.

Incidentally, the thought just crossed my mind? Do you think in Sicily they ever at one stage had Turi Giuliano comic books . It'd be interesting.

I would love to see a movie made about the real life robin hood, Turi Giuliano. It would not have to be based on the book because the book was based on fact. If the right director came along, and an excellent screenplay, and a true to life cast, it would be compelling. I was born in Sicilia and to my knowledge there are no comic books in existence. Turi is a "folk" hero and is well loved. The first movie was abhorrent and a complete aberration. Check out a film and book called Excellent Cadavers, about the scourge of the earth named Toto Riina. Another real life mafia tragedy.
