Hi everybody,

Id love to see more people on the game forums,
Im not forcing anybody but i dont see why there arnt much people on the games boards. The people that go on are people that are always on and that is good. But there would be more post on that section if loads more people took part. The games are good and most of them get you thinking. All im saying is give it a try. You will always come across Di Nero as he loves this part. And irishman is hooked. Oh and me !!! lol

Because Game Boards are for people who get 1,000 post in a little over a month. Real quality in there. :rolleyes:

Games used to be a part of General Discussion, until we marched and held demonstrations everyday so that Geoff kindly moved them to exile. They get you thinking all right. :p

Look, DNS...if you and irish and DN enjoy the Games forum, that's swell, knock yourself out.

Personally I find it incredibly annoying and useless as a part of this BB, and it truly pisses me off when I open the board to find that the most recent 10 topics of the day are from the Games forum, because someone has simply gone from one game to another. As afsaneh77 points out, at one time the games messed up General Discussion, until JGeoff at least fixed that. Thank god for small favors.

I'm not claiming there's anything I can do about it and would probably not even have mentioned it were it not for your pointless beckoning of more people to venture into the forum. But since you did....it's been around for quite a while, much longer than you have, and I think that all who are interested has already entered and played.

I did some thinking and a little research and figured out the answer on my own.

This one really gets me thinking, so it’s my favourite:

This game requires you knowing the alphabet! I will have to think of a word beginning with A and then the next person has to type a word with B then the next person C then D etc!
When it gets to z start agin from A so on.....

And then there’s this one:

Someone posts a word, then the next player has to post a word beginning with the last letter of the previous word.

I'll start:

Cat

And also:

Start off by answering the question to which country the city is in and then enter your own city

Eg-Toronto=Canada

That one caused a few problems, though, because the players seemed to have trouble making the distinction between cities, countries, and states.

That one seems to be more for eaters than thinkers, though.

We're just having a wee tease, lass. Look the games aren't for everyone and those that like to play already do.

Before the Games Forum even existed those threads were mixed with the others in this General Discussion forum. And popularity of them was split then and obviously still is. We used to have complaints then but as soon as the games got their own forum there's been no problem... ...up until now.
