Child hood accidents happen everyday. The kid was not abused. It's just that's it's Brit and K Fed, so it makes news. If the cops have a reason to go visit the home it should be because he has a space cadet pop tart for a mother and a junkie for a father.

I agree. It's unfortunate that the press does not pay attention to the inner city stories of the real child neglect and abuse that goes on everyday. But then again, as you pointed out, Spears is news and unfortunately, to the press, these inner city incidents are not. At least not until it's too late.
