April's Fools Day gag, right? right?

Well, not according to AICN....they report that indeed a teaser trailer for the long-in-development film based on the series that quite jumped the shark at least 7 years(or was it 10?) ago, is attached to some prints of that ICE AGE 2 flick, promising a release in July 2007.

Next summer promises Matt Damon's last outing in that franchise of his with THE BOURNE ULTIMATUM, Depp doing his PIRATES schtick again for the 3rd time, and now this.

Thoughts? Alcohol? Weapons? Freely exchange them among ourselves....

I've heard rumors of a Simpsons movie trilogy. They'd also be a little more risky with a movie than the TV show, but they'll be as true to the show as possible (I wouldn't expect a South Park: The Movie)

Well, i don't know if they'd raise the bar too much. Seeing as how Simpsons can still be somewhat a show that every generation watches. I think it would lose its genuine feel if they went too much in the direction of South Park.

Just got off the phone with Troy Anderson, webmaster and namesake of the website I review for now, http://www.andersonvision.com and he got word from FOX.

Anyway, this is NO joke. There is a SIMPSONS movie, there is a trailer, and its official....

in fact, you all will see that teaser TONIGHT, at 8 PM, on FOX......

BTW, visit the AV website...I need the traffic folks!

Yes! I can't wait until this comes out, I'm going to Canada that same day and that's the day after my birthday, it's like the perfect timing, my friend and I will probably stop off to see it on our way up to Canada. I know so many Simpsons quotes, it's gonna be great! It's about damn time a Simpsons movie came out though. I'm sure it'll be awesome. No doubt.

Well there's a Family Guy movie, and that show is a rip-off / tribute to the Simpsons (whichever way you look at it...)

If there is a Simpsons movie obviously it will be crap... like the last four seasons.
