Right after I get done pouring my heart and soul into a farewell post! By the time I got it around to being posted, you had made it clear that this was a joke. Haha, now I'm kind of upset no one could see my post! It was a compositional masterpiece, full of memories and regrets!

Anyway, I'm happy to hear the news. Now everyone realizes how important the gangsterbb really is!

DISSOLVE TO: The Don's office at night where SC is somberly having a drink. A slow, somber version of the Title Theme is heard. Don Malta enters. -night


DON MALTA (holding out his hand for SC's drink) :"Give me a drop..." (then, after sipping the drink and handing it back to SC) "BethE is crying upstairs. I hear cars coming to the house. Consiglieri of mine, I think you should tell your Don what everyone seems to know..."

SC: "Ah, I didn't tell BethE anything. I was about to come up and wake you just now and tell you..."


DON MALTA : "But you needed a drink first."

SC: (shaking his head, then says quietly)
"Yup..."

DON MALTA: "Well, now you've had your drink."


SC (his voice breaking) "Don Cardi started his new MafiaBB board! He's left the GangsterBB"

DON MALTA: (exhales, bows his head; physically shaken and weakened) "I want -- all inquiries made. I want no acts of vengeance. I want you to arrange a meeting, with the heads of the GangsterBB Boards. This cyber-war stops now.

[The Don, weakly standing, goes to embrace SC. Then he begins to exit]

DON MALTA :"Call Plawrence -- we need him now."

DISSOLVE TO: The Don's office. Don Malta is feeding the fish in his aquarium.

PLAWRENCE : "Don Cardi's MafiaBB chisels into our territory, and we do nothing about it. Pretty soon there won't be one place on the internet where I can hang my hat!"

SC :" Just be patient..."

PLAWRENCE : "I'm not asking you for help, SC -- just take off the handcuffs."

SC: " Be patient."

TIS : "We got to protect ourselves -- Give me a chance to recruit some new GangsterBB members."

SC : "No -- I don't want to give Don Cardi an excuse to start fighting a cyber war.

PLAWRENCE: " SC, you're wrong..."


TIS: (to Don Malta) "Don Malta -- you once said that the day would come when Plawrence and me could form our
own Gangster Boards. Til today, I would never think of it. I must ask your permission...

DON MALTA(looking away): "Well, SC is now head of the GangsterBB, and if he gives his permission, then you have my blessing..."

SC: "After we make the move to the new server -- you can break off from the GangsterBB and go start your own boards. After we make the move to the new server."

The funny thing is, yet special only to us BBers is, we can "all" relate to how we'd feel if this were true. We could tell our friends/families, or whomever, but they just wouldn't get it. :p

I don't think any April Fool's posted today on the BB can top that. Geoff wins the prize!!! Which is a swift kick in the behind. And let's not forget to co-conspiriators, DC & SC. That was great. Even tho we all had doubts, the possiblity of it being true was there.

SC - There are negotiations taking place and deals being made for new servers that will answer all your questions and address all of your concerns. That's all I can tell you now. (SC moves towards T.G. who was in the room) T.G. things are gonna get bumpy with this move to the new server that we're planning and there are reasons why I don't want you involved.

Well, as I've noticed more and more, you never know how important something is until it's gone, and the thought of losing the BB helped me remember how much I love it here.
