Valentines Day is an artificial, Hallmark Holiday, created by duplicitous, ill intentioned advertising executives to sell greeting cards, chocolates, jewelry, clothing and other stuff to generate $ and stimulate the economy. Although the "holiday" is based on an ancient Roman celebration the modern incarnation of it has little if anything to do with its ancestor. Valentine's Day is just another day for me...Lol! Lol! At least I'm not bitter or anything. Happy Valentine's Day Ladies!

What are you all doing for Valentines Day? Tonight we are going our with several other couples for dinner and then dancing. What do you usually buy for your wife This year I bought her a diamond necklace. And on Valentine's Day, like every year, I will send her a dozen roses. How do you usually celebrate? Now you are getting personal! Don Cardi

No girlfriend, huh?
See, we can act as smart as we want, but at the end of the day, we still follow a guy who fucks himself with kebab skewers.

Enzo, Yup, it it that easy to tell? Ah....I've got some things in the works but it's been pretty dry for me for the last little while if you know what I mean. Women say they want a guy who can make them laugh, bullshit. They say looks aren't important, bullshit. They say they don't care about money that's a huge, elephant, asteroid, gorrilla sized piece of bullshit, they say...well I could go on but I won't. That's why if you find a woman who's hot and doesn't care about you always having to be "on" all the time, doesn't care too much about looks, doesn't care too much about money and so on you should hang on to her through thick and thin for dear life, if she exists that is. I guess I'm just a hopeless romantic... :p

Mr. Soprano, don't feel bad, get even. I can call some people that can take care of this "billy" character free of charge if you want. Take it as a favour, but some day and that day may never come, I'll call upon you to do a service for me..

As cruel, cynical, sarcastic, and skeptical as I am, it may be hard for some of you to believe that I can also be very romantic when the mood overtakes me.
Usually dinner at a favorite restaurant of ours where we are pretty good customers, so I can get the cute little round table in the corner where we can sit sort of next to each other instead of across the table.
I also shoot over there in the afternoon with flowers, and the owner puts them on the table for me, so they are there when we arrive. Then she takes them home.
BTW, the "flowers-on-the-table-when-you-get-there" is a very effective move, gentlemen. I suggest that you try it some time.

I know, I'm a bit shocked by the "romantic PL" too. We always say we're not going to celebrate it either, but we always do, somehow. My boyfriend thankfully has never given me anything gross like a teddy bear or anything heart-shaped... which is why I'm still with him. :p He usually gets me REALLY unromantic things... well they're romantic to me, but not in a conventional way. Like last year was like the only year that I didn't have season tickets to the Lakers, so he got us tickets to like the next two games after Valentine's Day. He also gets me jewelry every year, which I guess is pretty cliche, but always appreciated, right? But my favorite was the year before... he got me a book about the St. Valentine's Day Massacre in addition to the jewelry, which was seriously the coolest, most apropos Valentine's gift EVER. I was cracking up. And it was a good book! It's hard for me to shop for guys (like any girl) but I've been pretty good so far... like last year, I got him an iPod after his broke. You have no idea how excited I was when he told me that his broke and he didn't have a warranty on it or anything... I was like YESSS now I know what I can get him! And the funny thing is, every year we talk about what a lame holiday it is, but we still get each other stuff. But in our defense, we get each other presents all the time, even when there's no occasion. So it's not that different. And we don't do anything special on that day that's any different from the usual. Phew!
