The new Pink Panther flick with Steve Martin as Inspector Clouseau. Somebody just go ahead and kill me...this along with an Ocean's 13 is more than any mortal man can take!

I'm not a big Steve Martin fan, but, of course, you never know.

But I don't see how anyone could possibly surpass Peter Sellers in the role.

Most roles in really good films just seem to belong to the actor who created the role in the first place.

If the original film was crap, I don't think it makes too much of a difference, but when the original was good it's virtually impossible for someone to recreate the role and do a better job.

Ocean's Eleven and The In-Laws are two recent examples of remakes which I've seen that come to mind.

That's my thoughts, plaw. Sellers cannot be outdone. They need to leave this one alone!

Sad thing is, this isn't Blake Edwards' first time that he tried to "re-start" the franchise....when will the man quit?

Speaking of which, one good thing from this crappy-looking remake could come of it. I might review A SHOT IN THE DARK for VIDEO BIN REVIEW, but who knows......

The new Ocean's Eleven was a good movie, the sequel was shit.

This movie looks like shit.
