I'm currently at work and don't have a TV here in my office! Jeez, these military planes keep falling off the sky. It amazes me that some people keep thinking Iranian military is such a super power and are afraid of their WMD capabilities.

Seems like a very old model. Sometimes countries buy military equipment anticipating some security threat. Then they remain forever until some serious tragedy happens

Yeah, these were bought before the revolution over 27 years ago and are now done their useful lifetime. But they're still being used without proper maintenance. It seems that according to military their lifetime ends when they fall off. It's happened quite a few times, but this time there were many civilians on board and it crashed into a residential building, that's what makes it different. I'm sorrier for those living in that block, because you already know you are going to die flying with those planes, but a plane coming through your bedroom is totally unexpected.

I got home 7:00 pm last night and it seemed I had not missed anything showing on TV, because the area was sealed off and no news reporter were let through.

Then when they showed the residential building on TV, the fire was almost out. Not much to add really. I think because of thickness of pollution over the sky the pilot was not aware that he was going to hit the residential area.

The pollution over big cities has been really awful these past days. Tehran residents are going to have it off today and tomorrow. Esfahan is not any better, but we had to go to work.
