SPOILERS

I asked this last year when the show started and with the new season that started yesterday, thought I'd ask again. Am I the only one who likes this show??? It's so different. :p

Bree's husbands funeral was hilarious.

Gabrielle doesn't know if the baby is her husband's or her teenage lawn mower boyfriend.

Lynette's interview was great, and poor Susan always seeming to find out more and more "secrets" about Mike.

How about the new character?? (Alfre Woodard) Ha ha...who are they hiding in the basement?

This is a well-written show....so different. It manages to take serious issues and make them hilarious.

Anyone else following it?

*SPOILERS*

If you remember Susan was being held at gunpoint by the teenage neighbor (his name escapes me at the moment). Anyway Mike walked in the house, and the kid aims the gun at him. Susan jumps up and knocks it out of his hand; he runs out causing her to fall down and end up in the hospital from the fall with a bloody mouth .
Mike suspects it's his kid and doesn't press charges, but tells the police it wasn't a big deal.

TIS- last night's episode is the first I've seen of DHW. Being such a loyal fan of Sex and the City, I felt like they were trying to replace it with this show, BUT it's very good. It's nothing like SATC- that last scene was sooo creepy... and who is that narrating?

Hey PP,

The narrator is the Housewife that killed herself (Mary Alice I think) in the first episode. The first episode started after her suicide with her narrating. You only hear her voice, and see pictures of her, but she's never really been in the show, except a flashback last seaons.

Besides having quite a terrible title for a TV series, I just don't get what the big deal is. Then again, I'm a man so who knows. Of course, I get LOST...

Ha ha...that's ok RR. To each his own. I just find with so much of the same old thing on tv, that this is so different, it's a refreshing change. I've always had a somewhat twisted sense of humor tho, at times. :p I must admit, I'm disappointed to have missed my favorite, Law & Order on the other station. I tossed it around and decided I just couldn't miss DH.

I'm watching the first season. You are right TIS, it's a different show. Even though there are some oddities in it, I basically like it.

I don't want realism. I want magic! Yes, yes, magic. I try to give that to people. I do misrepresent things. I don't tell the truth. I tell what ought to be truth (Blanche/A streetcar named desire)
