I've never seen it, but I heard it was a great movie with trememndous acting. Has anybody seen it and would you recommend it?

I thought it was good but not as everybody made it out to be. It was kinda predictable to me but Pacino was good in it as was everyone else

A great film I almost rated ****

The film is an excellent portrayal of the business problems of the middle class. Great performances and monologues. One of the best casts I've seen for the 90's. Very underrated.

It's good and made brilliant by the ensemble of actors as well as the dead-solid-perfect recreation of that style of selling. If you've ever worked in that type of outbound cold-calling sales environment, or even an inbound call center, the movie captures every nuance of sales -- the people, the personalities, the ebb and flow of emotions that go with the sales cycle of your business.
