Don't confuse a "pilsner" with "shitty" -- it's a style of beer, not a quality of beer.

That said --

Miller products beat Bud and Coors in general, but the best of the bunch is the high-octane Coors Original. Then, Miller High Life.

The best light is Miller Lite. The worst would be Coors Light, but it's so tasteless and weak, that "honor" has to go to Bud Light. I dislike all varieties of Bud.

But you're forgetting Old Milwaukee, Strohs, Schlitz, Piels... and good ol' Rheingold!

That would be Pabst Blue Ribbon and/or Red White and Blue.

Both give you heartburn while drinking and taste like shit along with a massive headache the next day.

When I was a kid my buddy and I saw a case of Pabst Blue Ribbon beer in his neighbor's garage. We stole it and I opened my first can and drank it, it was the worst beer I ever had. It was so bad we actually returned the beer the next night!!

MGD hands down! I love Miller. Altough Bud Ice is very good as well

None of them. I'll drink them when there's no alternative but that's it.

What's all this 'lite' beer stuff? If you're gonna drink, be a man and drink something that gives you a beer belly and then have a greasy kebab on the way home. You can always run it off the next day. After a good run it's always appropriate to reward yourself with another fatty beer.

Not much to choose from, but you did say shitty; and that distinction goes to plan old BUD - gas, and runs. Of the list you gave I'd pick MGD as the best of the pigs. It's got some flavor. Bud Light is a good golfing beer. Coors Light when you can't find a water bottle. Miller Light in longnecks is OK.

Beer of choice these days: Yuengling Lager (bottles), Newcastle Brown Ale.

When I do drink beer (and it's very seldom), it's Coors Lite.

I hate beer! I had a shocking experience with beer in my childhood, I think. When I was, say, five or six, I was always asking for tasting beer when I saw it in those big glasses with that white fluff on top. Apparently I was whimsical and irritating beyond every limit, 'cause my father told me beer was actually made of horse's pee! It shocked me to the point I cannot even smell it since then... No doubt beer and horse's pee look quite similar.....

I'm not a big beer drinker, but from those choices, I'd have to go with MGD.

As for foreign beer, I'd have to go with Weisen (pronounced VIE-zen). It's a German wheat beer. It's expensive (a 6 pack is about $30), but you get what you pay for.

I never drink any of the three beers listed, and lately I have pretty much not been drinking beer to keep the weight off, but when I do, my favorites are Belgian beers on tap brewed by monks. Also Guinness stout and Becks.

I love Weiss, especially in the Summer! And nothing beats Franziskaner !

Weisen with a little lemon or even raspberries... as they drink it in Berlin.

i'll go for Budweiser. i can drink it cold or straight from the delivery truck.

I'm having an after prom party Saturday night, and we're getting about 6 cases of MGD.

Bud got my vote.

But fosters is my preferred drink

The only beer I drink is Busch Light in longneck bottles. I hate can beer.

I do love a good weisse beer. Hacker-Schorr or Tucher-Weizen served cold...big glass to hold the entire bottle...slice of lemon.

Wisconsin is filled with small breweries serving a small distribution channel. Point Beer from Stevens Point, Sprecher Brewery just outside Milwaukee, and even Leinenkugel from the northwoods of Chippewa Falls are all pretty good.

I have a vague memory of a drunken weekend in Lake Geneva involving Wisconsin beers...
