I was just watching the story of The Carter Family on PBS. The Carters were one of America's first families of country music ... Appalachian actually. As I listened to the narrator I realized I knew that voice ... and I knew it well; it was Robert Duvall.
How cool. I am very fond of really *really* old style music ... particularly appalachian (and blues ... anyone familiar with the npr show "Blues Before Sunrise"?) ... and and that voice ...
Pretty cool that he had the interest for such a show.
Makes me glad I'm a contributor to PBS :-)
