Well, after much consideration on when I would travel back to Michigan, I decided to leave this Thursday for my aunt/uncle's 50th Anniversary Party. Hell, I was thinking, shouldn't be too bad, end of April...beginning of May!! WRONG!!I just read that there's snow flurries there with high of 35. What will I do?? :p I was bringing open toe shoes, and light jackets, now it seems as tho I'll need to buy longjohns and bring my electric blanket. ha ha...I hope I don't just shrivel up and die. There is absolutely NOTHING like California weather (even if I am cold at times) :p CancerKitty, keep me updated on the weather there will ya? TIS

CK, Thanks for the update, be it not too encouraging. I was there two years ago around this same time, and the weather was pretty nice. I lived there for 31 years and know how unpredictable it is, and yet, I guess living in CA for so long, I tend to forget. BTW, I am going to Grand Rapids (I was born/raised there), but I've been to the Detroit area many times. I have a lot of relatives there. TIS

Well, Saturday wasn't too bad out, granted you kept a sweater or light jacket on... But friday afternoon right on to night sucked. Drizzling, and massive wind.
"Somebody told me when the bomb hits, everybody in a two mile radius will be instantly sublimated, but if you lay face down on the ground for some time, avoiding the residual ripples of heat, you might survive, permanently fucked up and twisted like you're always underwater refracted. But if you do go gas, there's nothing you can do if the air that was once you is mingled and mashed with the kicked up molecules of the enemy's former body. Big-kid-tested, motherf--ker approved."

TIS It snowed Monday morning for a little while, then it got to the sixties and turned into a beautiful day. All the snow's melted here anyway. I guess you should have held off for a week.
