If you could travel back in time and be able to choose just ONE sporting event/game to attend, what event/game would you choose?

Me, I would choose to attend the game when The Brooklyn Dodgers won the world series.

For me it would be January 2, 1984 When the Miami Hurricanes won their first national championship by defeating the Nebraska Cornhuskers 31-30.

Hey, how's it going?

I would love to go back and see the 1st game played at Yankee Stadium. See Babe Ruth knock the 1st home run out of the park.

I woke up this morning with nothing to do and went to bed with only half of it done.

The 1973 Belmont Stakes - Secretariat winning by 31½ lengths while setting not only a track record but a world record as well. This horse had as much heart as any other athlete I've ever seen.

I saw it live on tv, but being at Belmont then would be fantastic.

If I could see any game of any sport in any year, I would definately see the Jeruselem Jaguars vs. the Bethlehem Bobcats, 11 A.D. The one where Jesus hits his first homerun. The Jaguars won but only 1 run, it was amazing, props to Jesus.

Being a Cleveland sports fan, you're asking me to travel in a time machine b/c it's been so long. I guess it would be the Browns winning the title in 1964 and getting to see Jim Brown play.

If I could pull a "Back to the Future" and alter history, it would have been to have Jose Mesa mow down the Marlins 1-2-3 in the 9th inning of the '97 World Series.

The first Olympics in Athens. To see how it looked and how the atheletes performed. It would be a very interesting comparison.

1980 Olympic Games Silver Medal Match, USA VR. USSR. That would be incredible.

Didn't the autopsy of Secretariat reveal that his heart was literally 2-3 times the size of a normal racing horse? [/b][/quote]Yes. Read this .

I would watch the 2002 Olympic Games Mens Figure Skating finals. I know, I'm a dork, but the guy who won is seriouly the greatest ever, I loved him. I would have done anything to have been there, especially since it was in the U.S.
