Very interesting way to start up the new season tonight. When I learned that the strike team had dissolved, it was a little depressing, but it looks like something similar will start up in future eppisodes. Glen Close is an interesting character, but I find it hard to imagine her as a rough street trained cop.

Just about the same time in the eppisode where I asked myself, "Where is Shane?" Sure enough he popped up. It looks like he hasnt changed much at all, and it seems obvious that he capped Vic's pigeon. I dont see Vic and Shane working together again. In fact, I see a rivalary developing between the two, and I think they will become enemies. I also wonder how Lem will fit into the situation. His small appearance gives me hope that he will still remain to be a regular cast member.

The only question I have is who is the guy that they said is heading up the crime division that Vic wanted? Was he in the show last season, or is he just a name?

I think he's just a name. I liked the show but I was disappointed in the lack of airtime for Lem & Shane. And I hate the idea of Shane & Vic hating each other. There were like brothers for 3 seasons, and now it's all over? No way. I also what's gonna happen with Tavon. I also wasn't a big fan of bringing in Glen Close, but she did a very good job so far. I loved the part where Aceveda told Vic that he screwed him in getting tht job and something like "after all that happened, did you really think I wouldn't get the last word?" or something like that. I immediately thought of the old Vince McMahon/Stone Cold Steve Austin feud that they used to have where they constantly screwed over each other! Can't wait for this season to keep on rolling

Kind of Like Irishman said I miss the idea of Vic & Shane working together. They were extremely effective as a unit. And I miss the strike team, but maybe this new unit could make up for it.

But so far I'm liking the fact that Claudette Wymms is in the dog house with the Da's office.

Not another bad episode. I'm glad they're still giving Vic, Roney, Lem, and Shane lots of air time. It seems each week I'm liking Glen Close more and more. I liked and will terribly miss Aceveda, but I thought it was kinda cool how he screwed everybody on his way out. I hope he still get's his airtime and that he's not lost & forgotten

I watched last night's episode. Looks like Aceveda has gone off the deep end. He kept the tape of the woman being raped.

Tonight's episode was good. I think this will probably be the defining episode for the rest of the season and I like the way it's going so far. Next week looks good and I'm starting to like Glen Close more and more every week. The only thing that's getting on my nerves is the tension between Vic and Shane. I know how season 3 ended but these guys have been best buds for about 3 seasons now and I can't stand to see them like this. I loved tonight how the episode ended with Glen taking the house from that family

Yea I liked last nights eppisode. Glen Close's character seems to be more complex then I originally thought. I think theres some other reason why she took the house that were not being told. Maybe she is unable to have children, and what the black woman said really offended her, I dont know. But either way, I like her. She seems to be getting along real well with Vic too, but I would be surprised if that lasted long.

Yeah I was kinda thinking something along those lines about the kid too. Not why she went through with it but when the lady was in the Barn's lobby I was kinda like, that might be a sensitive issue to her, because she didn't retort

Another good episode tonight. It was good to see Aceveda again and when he visited that girl at her house, it was amazing what she said he could do to her. My favorite part though was probably when Vic let that dog go wild on the rapist

I think that the prostitute that Aceveda is trying to get with is actually an undercover cop. I think that would be a nice twist.

That opening scene yesterday was pretty pimp with Aceveda. I thought he was really raping her. He's turned himself into some kinda sick bast*rd! As for Shane, he's got him some trouble now with Antonie

I liked the part with Dutch caught on camera. It sort of lightened the show up. I must say again, what is with Aceveda? I have a feeling he will go to far and kill Sarah, the prostitute. Looks like Shane is in a heap of trouble. I wonder if he will die at the end of the season?

I think we'd see Sarah die before Shane, he's too valuable to the show. I'm still glad that they're keeping Aceveda on the show even though he's moved up from the Barn. I'm also liking Glen Close more and more every week! I wonder what's going to happen to Julian??

Yeah that opening scene with Aceveda and the prostitute really surprised me. At first I thought she was getting raped. My way of thinking is Aceveda won't necessarily kill her, but maybe just maybe he will actually rape her.

And she'll end up pressing charges. I think Aceveda has gone off the deep end. I also think major trouble is brewing between Vic/Shane.

Tonight's episode was ok (I couldn't hear some of it b/c my roomate was trying to hold a conversation with me) Am I the only 1 who thinks this season isn't that great so far? It was cool to see Lem & Shane go at it. Next week's episode looks pretty sweet though

I disagree Irish. I think this season is very good.

I dont see Shane living or at least remaining a cop for that much longer. He has dug himself a big hole, and I dont see how he can possibly come out of it unscathed. I thought it was hillarious when Dutch asked Corrine out. I hope that goes further and somehow winds up with Dutch getting his ass whipped.

Tonight's episode was pretty sweet and better than most I've seen so far this season. Next week's episode looks good as well. Julian continues to further and further himself from Danny, Dutch is still 'macking' (pun intended) on Vic's ex, and Shane now has to whack Vic! Should make for an interesting last half of the season

I think this has been a damn good season. Raggingbull is right Shane has dug himself one big hole.

Oh man I can't wait until Vic finds out what's been going on between Dutch and his ex. The sh*t will for sure hit the fan.

The scene in the truck where Shane is told a body for body was classic. At the end Vic and Shane are looking at one another. Goggins acting was superb because many of the movements, ie conveying the scene involved facial responses. Next week looks like another winner.

It looks like the old Vic is back. His demotion seems to have put him back on the crooked path, and I am not sure where this will lead. I thought this weeks eppisode was pretty damn good. A lot of new questions to be answered. Will Shane decide to kill Vic? If so, will he be succesful? Will Aceveda stop being an asshole for 5 minutes? Will Monica put Vic back in charge? Will Vic find out about Dutch and Corine?

I'm sure Vic will find out about Dutch. As for Shane, I think Vic might bring sometype of backup when he meets Shane. He's not that dumb, especially now that he's heard it from Shane himself. As for Asceveda, I think he'll just continue to get worse and worse.

A better episode tonight. Some of me wanted Vic to at least shoot Shane (maybe not kill him but at least shoot him), and then part of me didn't. Dutch made a good move in catching the "coffee thrower," plus Vic's ex swung by his work. He's gonna get caught by Vic sooner or later. I also liked Asceveda taking charge and Vic getting some from Danny

Aceveda is truly over the deep end. The scene with Sarah was sick as Aceveda is obsessed with control issues trying to get back what was lost when he was victimized.

Probably the best episode of the series tonight. I'm glad it was an hour and a half but with all of the commericals it was still like an hour. I can't wait for next week's as usual
