I'm absolutely horrified at the news that if the proposal passes, Wisconsin hunters can shoot feral cats! I hope the people there would do something AGAINST that shame!

That's nothing, British parliament has just recently passed a law for allowing the murder of children for food.

well i live in wisconsin and belive me there are many cats. alot of em are scratching and bitting ppl witch leads to rabies shots. there are way to many strays . that will just breed and make more stray cats. it is a real problem. i am for it.if ppl would take care of there animals instead of dumping them there wouldnt be a problem

I hope it does pass. Theres nothing worse than a feral animal, to say noting of cats. I used to watch some show call Animal Cops, or something to that effect, and they would always raid these houses with litterally thousands of feral cats. They'd go in there with thier moon suits on, scoop out all the cats and transport them back to a shelter to euthanize every one of them. Why not just have people take care of it themselves?

believe me, I know cats and how they behave. They don't scratch or bite people at all, unless you annoy them somehow. They don't do any harm because they simply ignore people who don't bother them. Ferals are scared of people and apparently they are right.

do you think that shooting cats to avoid them from breeding is better than just neuter them? We have lots of cats in Rome, they are considered "citizens", are protected and neutered. It is not difficult at all. If you want to shoot anyway, shoot vacuum cans. It's more ecological and ethical.

I agree. But it's not by declaring war to ferals that you can educate people. Start a campaign. Make people aware of the problem instead of allowing them to kill innocent animals.

try catching these cats !! u cant there smart. and if u dont catch lets say one male one female this leads to how many kittens that in 8 months can breed witch will lead to more kittens that can breed in nine months its never ending. if u cant catch em and nuter em anspay em all then what? these are unwanted cats, i see it as hu,ane way to control them. there is no way to catch them all. i like cats we have two, it all goes to owners dumping them and that leads to many cats it is a shame

Even if they did nueter the ferals, they are still wild animals. TYhey can never be adopted by anyone.

so what's the problem? Would you shoot wild animals? And what exactly do you mean by "wild"? Wild cats? They certainly are not likely to be around people's homes, assaulting and devouring them! :p
