Hey to all you Godfather gurus out there, can you answer me this question. Is there any plan to release an uncut version of the Godfather or a Chronology, in order of the sequence of events or both. That would just be the ultimate I think.

I personally am more interested in the uncut stuff, especially in GF I and II, cus of the quantity of the material. Also, I know the reason the GF II has the disjointed jumping from story to story is because in initial screenings it wasn't as well received in a linear fashion so it was reworked and it worked.

A version of GF and II, called something like "The Godfather Saga,1900-1959," was released on VHS ca. 1981. It's the two films in chronological order with about half the deleted scenes spliced in chronological order. Then there's a shown-on-TV version of GF and II, also chronological, with all the deleted scenes. That's the best version, IMO.
I don't know of any plans to produce a chronological version with deleted scenes for DVD, but I never underestimate Paramount's greed in getting us to buy yet another version of our favorite films.
