This is about our choice. I perceived that we have many Michaels, Vitos, some Toms...
Not a single DonFredoCorleone...
Why and what we prefer?
The poll question is: What member of Corleone family did you choose (or would choose hypotetically, if your own nick is neutral) to represent yourself on the board?
And - why?

keep your mouth shut, and your eyes open.

My username is kind of a contradiction. On one hand, I've got the name of one of the worst films (and film characters) I've ever seen, on both sides of "DoN_CoRLeOnE". It kinda symbolizes that no matter how much sh*t is out there, and no matter how big a crowd there is in film, The Godfather will never get lost in that crowd of sh*t, if any of that makes any sense.

BTW, I voted Vito.

I voted for Vito just because I'd like to be called Godfather. I almost went with Tony Montana, but I think I'd rather be called Godfather

I chose Carmella & Appolonia.

Carmella - cuz she is my avator and I just like her so much.

Appolonia - cuz I think it would be intriging(sp)to be married someone who is in the mafia.

i'd probably want to go with something like vito corleone, or the godfather. lol, and i know the latter is corny.

I chose Sonny becuase there was a line in the book stating that Tom didnt want "to be consiglerie to the Don of Santino Corleone." I always liked the line, and Sonny was/is one of my favorite characters. If I had to do it all over again, I might actually chose Don Fredo Corleone for its originallity :p

Searching the good ol' directory reveals the following numbers w/ such characters names in them:

4 - Connie
5 - Carmella/Carmela
7 - Rocco
8 - Paulie
9 - Fredo
9 - Carlo
16 - Neri
17 - Sonny
18 - Santino
18 - Luca
31 - Michael
32 - Tom (few are for Tom Hagan, though)
36 - Vito
45 - include "Montana"

I studied Italian for 2 semesters. Not once was a "C" pronounced as a "G", and never was a trailing "I" ignored! And I'm from Jersey! tongue lol

i'm one of the sixty Dons. Jeaz that's a lot of Don's we should have like a meeting of the Don's thread as a joke or something.

When some one needs to be whacked you call Don Leporleone,
When some one needs to be paid off you call Don Leporeloene,
When some one needs protection you call Don Leporeleone....
But when you buy canolis from the bakery you don't share them with Don Leporeleone, what have I ever done to make you treat me so disrespectfully

I would have to go with Sonny, since Tessio isn't one of the above choices.

I would choose Apollonia, because of that speechless love scene with Al, if you know what I mean.

Tough choice between Micheal & Tony Montana. But I ultimately chose Tony Montana.

Don Geoff,I hardly believe anyone chose Paulie from the Godfather movie.
I believe these 8 people probably mean Paulie from the Sopranos.

Cant do it Sally-just wanted to say that you have the best username on the forum here.I simply love it!

I remember a girl here I think went by Thin Clemenza. She almost had a coronary when Clay lost on AI.

We know. When Afs said "Don't ask why" and showed her little tongue, I thought immediately of her imaginin herself instead of Simonetta in that scene, and Al quietly lets the dress down and touches her face sooo gently and kisses her - and - I know what you girls are doing now, yes.
Don't tell me I'm wrong. :p

I fact, you could chose them both. I didn't want to make anyone suffer.
BTW, my own choice was Michael. Just because he is the most strong and smart of them all. He is a winner by nature. But it would be like decieving you all about my sex, so I registered under a perfectly neutral one.

For the most part, the directory is full of guys who registered, then posted 3 or 4 times, only to get sucked down a black hole
