It's kind of an interesting theory. Of the Bible-predicted three ant-Christs...

1st anti-Christ: Napolean.
2nd anti-Christ: Adolf Hitler
3rd anti-Christ: ?

The 3rd anti-Christ is said to rise in Eastern Europe. Russia is in Eastern Europe.

Something else.... related to the Iraq War. First country to oppose the US and Britain in the invasion of Iraq? France, Napolean's country. Second country to oppose the US and Britain on Iraq? Germany, Hitler's country. Thrid country to oppose us on Iraq? Russia, Putin's country.

Putin also fits the bill. He has a very shady beackground, and he is currently slowly deteriorating democracy in his country, just like Hitler and others did, and the other world powers are ignoring him and his actions, just like they did with Hitler.

I think Christ was for peace rather than war. If being against war makes someone anti-Christ then well, I don't think I can go on to say what would be the outcome. Thanks for the laughs though! And in that case I'm anti-Christ too, so come and burn me in flames you righteous men of God.

That isn't what he said at all. He said the first country to oppose our war was Napoleon's, the second, Hitler's, and the third Putin's, simply stating a coincidence.

I heard something about the 3rd anti-Christ coming from the East too, but I think I heard he might be Chinese. I believe my brother read a Notradamus book about it or it was in 1 of his books. Kinda eerie though

I'm 95% sure Nostrodamous said the third anti-Christ would be Middle Eastern.

Some religious experts say that the third Anti-Christ will be Jewish.

The bill fits Jesus. He was Jewish, he was Middle Eastern and he was against war and he preached for peace. Maybe when he comes back to free us all, you label him anti-himself. DV, my point was, how people who are for war claim to be following the way of Christ. That's a paradox.

I havebn't read much on Nostradamus, but I understand that he has predicted many significant events, as far as translating his little poems go. I think Putin could be though, because I believe the 3rd anti-Christ was suppossed to rise in this time period? I know he's not Jewish or Middle Eastern, but there are several theories on the descent of the next anti-Christ.

Nostradamus wasn't really clear on this point, but some of the translations shed some light on this. Its a little known fact that "putin" means "mountain" in Russian, and thats where the phrase, "If the mountain will not come to Muhammad, then Muhammad will go to the mountain" comes from.

Also, it was overheard (in the mid 16th century) that Nostradamus was asked to bet on the fight and Nosy replied, "I'm putin my money on Ali", which further confused the issue.

The scary thing is as we are trying to get rid of these Muslim righteous people, Christian righteous people who are doing God's work are on the rise, giving theories about anti-Christ for whomever they don't like. Just to add to this. I dont remember exactly how it goes but heres a coincidence with the bible and today, along with the Koran both have stuff relating to today and the comin of the 'antichrist'. In the koran...think for a minute about this....verse 9:11 (dont know what chapter or whatever) talks about a great eagle being awoken by descruction or sometime and striking down on the great great evil and, causing war and tradegy; this area being based around the fertile crescent...in this part of the Koran it talks about the end of the world. Think 911 9:11, Someone if you heard this get my facts a little straight, hope you get any idea tho :-/

The problem is that some people, not all, mis-interpret the Bible and the Koran, and they apply it to conveniently justify thier own beliefs and ways of doing things. I agree that all religions have extremists and fanatics, but some, more than others, go too far with thier fantasism and wind up killing innocent people in the process. Some Christian extremists point fingers and accuse others of being ant-Christs. Some Muslim extremists accuse those who are not of the muslim faith of being the infidels, or the devils. In essence the base teachings of love, care for your fellow man, tolerance, etc. taught in most religions is lost due to the fantasism of these extremists. Just look how someone like Bin Laden has twisted around the teachings of the Koran to suit his own beliefs and hate towards non-muslims and the western world. It's a shame for those muslims who are practicing thier religion in the proper and correct way. Problem is that some extremists carry thier fanatasim further than others, by killing innocent people and by trying to destroy western cultures, so unfortunately we must engage in war to try and rid the world of these murdering cowards. For if we stand by and do nothing, not only will the western world be destroyed, but all of the world who does not believe in those fantasisms will face murder and death to thier innocents.

The system of numbering in Quran is different than Bible. It doesn't have books; it has 114 chapters, which is also divided by 30 sections. And then there is only verses #1, #2 and so on and so forth. So what you say could be either chapter 9, verse 11 or section 9, verse 11 and I actually looked into it and none is talking about what you say. You really need to look into the credibility of your sources before you come to a conclusion.

Chapter9, verse11: "So whenever they repent and pray to God and help the poor they are your religious brothers and God shows his signs to those who try to learn."

Section9, verse 11: "And remember when he [God] made you relax to sleep in peace and when he sent a precious rain from the skies to cleanse you and when he took away the temptations of devil and brought your hearts together to be strong in your faith."

Now you don't want me to look into the every 9:11 verse Bible has, do you?


Don Cardi, I agree that religious zealots whatever religion they have, are a big danger to the safety of all of us, but I don't agree with the way you think the matter should be handled. I don't see the world becoming any safer today, as the matter of fact instead of these zealots being cornered, people out here see innocent people getting killed everyday and they begin to think what the difference between these zealots and those who fight for freedom is. Islam is approximately 600 years younger than Christianity and it yet has to see its renaissance, which would be the answer to all these problems we have today. That's why zealots seem to be more in this religion. It is New Year's day and I'm not going to argue with you on this matter anymore but as Jesus said himself "Judge not, that ye be not judged". What I'm trying to say is that no one is perfect enough to back their actions with their religion. That's one thing that should not be tolerated. Take this from someone who has once seen fanatic religious people on the rise.

You said the anti-Christ is also said to be Jewish and Middle Eastern. I only tried to suggest that it could apply to Jesus too. And being from a country which is against "that war" could make you anti-"that war" too. And well, Jesus was anti-war anyway. It is just a theory. Nothing to worry about really. :rolleyes:

That is EXACTLY why the coalition forces are at war with the Islamic Terrorists, because thier attempt to force thier religious beliefs down the throats of the rest of the world by the use of force and terrorism cannot, as you say above, be tolerated!


It is very obvious by your posts in this topic that you are making reference to the Coalitions actions in the middle east. The difference here is this : The extremist Islamic fanatics are the ones who attacked the United States, Spain and several other coutries based on thier "so called" religious beliefs! Our response to those attacks were not and are not based on our religious belifes. We are not fighting a holy war on our end, but a war of justice and democracy. Our fight in this war is not being fought on our religious beliefs. The extremist islamic fanatics are the ones who are calling this a holy war, not the U.S. or any of it's coalition members! The Islamic extremists are the ones attacking and killing the non believers of thier religion. The U.S. and it's coalition members are not. If this was a holy war on the coalitons end then we would have attacked all Islamic and muslim nations. Our coalition would be looking to wipe out ALL islamic nations. We are in no way attempting that! As a matter of fact it is quite the contrary as the Coalition is trying to help an Islamic nation be free from Extremist Fanatic Islamic rule! So therefore your implication is extremely weak! In a nutshell you've totally misinterpreted the original post that started this topic. All he was trying to do was to compare what is currently going on in the world with what had been profisized and written in the religious books. You spun this into a totally different subject!
