I am leaving my office in a few minutes and probably won't be on line for a few days and just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas (or more politically correctly - Happy Holidays!).

Seriously though, I look at the picture Marycas posted and I don't feel ANYTHING about it. I was brought up (theoretically) a Christian but logic in my head wont buy it for a second. I'm actually getting to a stage of my life I'm looking for something else. I can't find it. It's too hard to suddenly believe in Christianity. I'm already cut, maybe I should turn to Judaism.

From my conservative right: "Have a Merry Christmas, Happy Chanukah, and enjoy the holiday season!"

From the liberal left: "Have a happy* winter season, and enjoy the festivities**!."

*By 'happy,' we mean merry. But we don't mean to indicate we support any phrase like 'Merry Christmas' or 'Happy Chanukah' or 'Happy Kwanzaa' or 'Hare Krishna' because that would indicate support of an established religion.

**By 'festivities,' we don't mean 'holiday' which would indicate religious meaning, we just are indicating the period of time between December 24th and January 2nd upon which you will have select time allotments of recreation from school and/or employment, for reasons that are totally unrelated to religion.

That's a classic, TIS!!

I think the guy from the poem is in Vegas right now... I saw a guy in a red silk suit and a gold pinky ring this afternoon. No joke, I swear to God, he was wearing a red silk suit. I didn't know one could BUY red silk suits anywhere. Maybe he got it made. And he was wearing it with a pink shirt, buttoned up only halfway, hairy chest showing.

Btw, merry Christmas to all.

I was looking for the lyrics to "I want crabs for Christmas" but couldn't find them anywhere on the internet. I guess yous all will have to interpret it as you see fit.

Hope everyone has a great day. I did very well this morning. My daughter got me a big basket with nice bath salts, body sprays, soap, etc. A girl at work got me a "pms" candle scented like chocolate and some bath salts, and a guy at work got me a bag of scented seeds to put me in my drawer. I'm seeing a trend here....hahaha. And last but not least my daughter also got me a stereo. I guess if you live long enough your kids start buying you major electronics.

Time to spend another lovely day with da family. Jeez, I just saw them Thanksgiving; two weeks ago at a birthday party, last week at my sister's Christmas party, now today. That makes 4 times in a month. I think that should fall under the category of "cruel and unusual punishment".

Have a sweet day, peeps.

F*ckin' ho never "saw me" in her magic looking glass. [/b][/quote]Funny you should mention that. I had 2 nieces and a newphew who were on Romper Room. One niece was on buy herself, (well along with 4 other kids.) My other niece and nephew were on a show together. Now, you tape 2 shows. My nephew at the time was into barking. He spent the whole show barking all around the set and tapping Miss Molly, (Miss Nancy's daughter---Miss Nancy has since retired) and saying "hey lady, hey lady". The poor boy was asked not to return for the next taping. Hah! I think he's the only kid to ever get kicked off of Romper Room. Then on the next show they were making paper dolls out of the kids. Miss Molly went to pin the paper on my niece and pricked her with the pin. My niece screams out "OWWWWWW", (in that thick Bawlamer accent of hers). We've got it all on video.
